What I had in my mind at that time(which may be very incorrect) was... you were probably telling her how good it is and all, and in the end, she's like "it's not nothing special"... thus the "you got pwnt".

Saw Kara no Kyoukai ~The Garden of Sinners~ 3 last night.

Fuckin intense, so well made and the story was substantial throughout compared to the relative vagueness of the first two.

Really good stuff.

also, started Ergo Proxy.

Imo the 5th one was the only one that's great.  The others aren't bad, but nothing special really, more eye-candy than something I'll call great (according to me, 5>3=6>the rest).

Oh yeah, want blurays too, this is like one of the only anime (if not the only anime) up to now which I think is actually worth downloading at 1080p given the massive filesize premium.

The third one was great, I would agree with you on the first 2 but because of how things have played out I understand how they took the story.

1 & 2 got 8/10, 3 got 9/10 and you already know what 4 got. If 5 is any better I may have to review the rest of my ratings. :/

Agreed

.. on another note, Ergo Proxy really needs to pick up.. 4 episodes in and the plot seriously needs to open up.

Just finished the 5th film... I can just give it a 10/10 for the sheer depth the story went into, tying up the past films and resolving everything so swiftly as the 2 hours went on.

Truly epic fights were brilliant, and the animation was just as consistant as the last two.

If theres one thing I miss in this over the last 4 though... patience.

Okay, fine, the story isn't mean´t to be told like that; but I do like that trait from the past films, and in ways it was ambitious for it to be a full 2 hours at full speed.

Most importantly though, it worked, and it was astounding. And out of sheer respect for the works I give it a 10.

I would say though, it didn't leave me as astounded as the forth film.

Finished Kodomo no Jikan...... 6/10

At least it was interesting... don't see it being memorable though.
