RE: UMD question
TUXi Wrote:Well, Custom firmware enabler and GEN aren't the same. I'm not sure but it's a high risk that if I try to install GEN I will mess up my PSP, so neither GEN or CFWe will work.
I read on another forum, nor this or cspot, that a guy with a TA-88v3 tried to uninstall CFWe to install GEN afterwards and messed up PSP. I'm not too sure about whether I want to take that risk or not. :-/
there are no risks...nothing that gets changed is read when psp is booted.
start hen, hold l trigger and start CFWe and there should be an uninstall option..or its right trigger..or its after you have started cfwe once...but it will uninstall then start up GENB and install that.

Yeah I know about that. It's the right trigger. But is it REALLY 110% safe to do so?
Will I be able to recover it if I mess up?
SchmilK I think I've said before, I'm Psyko from cspot. lol you prolly noticed that...
Anyhow, you'll also prolly know that I have no fear in flashing a PSP, but when it comes to a PSP that's unrecoverable if bricked... gosh....

k, but I still wants to know. Am I able to recover it. I mean, I'm not afraid of bricking it, I know I'll be able to enter ChickHEN. But I've heard of ppl getting problems entering both CFWe and GEN. :-/
