quick question
Hi everyone,

I just started to mess around with my old psp again, haven't touched it in over a year, it's still one of the first phat ones.

So my cfw was outdated and I asked on some forums and they told me to get, 5.02 GEN-A.

But when I look at the CXMB tutorials here, none of them seem to cover that firmware..

So can someone tell me if its just an old firmware or if its new and things will work on that too?

its a new firmware, but not as widely supported as 5.0M33 in reagrd to apps like CXMB etc...

um.\..no...cxmb works perfectly fine in 5.02 and all you have to do is change one bit to make a ctf from 5.00 work on 5.02.

also pretty much all other plugins/apps/games work just as well in 5.02 as in 5.00...but right now 5.00 has the 1up on 5.02 with the speed up memory stick changes.
