RE: Which 1tb hard drive should I buy?
Is it better to get the lacie bigdisk, or the western digital elements, can anyone provide a review?
EDIT: So I read some reviews, the Lacie seems to be the logical choice, but about 20% of the reviews say it fails after 1 -2 years (has a 3 yr warranty). so i think i will go with that unless someone can provide another option or reason not to. Ahaa

Edit 2: It appears I will be getting the WD, as the laCie is a 5 hr drive away, and they won't ship it.

let me know what the elements is like, because i found a buyer for my MyBook Essential hdd, and going on Whirlpool.net to find recommendations for a new one, many have recommended the WD Elements which you bought.

Ok, I will test it on the 9th. One thing people did say was the power supply wasn't perfect, that attributed to what many at first called an hd failure.
