I'm want to run a program which worked on Windows XP on Vista. Any solutions?

there is no other way,. for games you can try to change compatibility mode,.

Compatibility Mode yeah, right click the EXE, go to Properties, Compatibility, then turn on Compatibility Mode and try out each one till it works.

also check for updates.. some programs older versions don't work in Vista, but after updates (or new versions) they do.

The thing is I want to use an older version of the program.
Also the compatibility modes didn't work.

Google for compatibility fixes - otherwise you might have to resort to installing XP in VirtualPC

...how old is that game?
What type of processor?
I know on my really old games like Dues Ex and Theif 2
I have to set it to use one core of the cpu, because dual core wasn't available back then.
