RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
i remember when this happened to me. except when i did it i used up all the space in my flash0.
i don't know if this is what has happened in your case, but to solve my problem i just reinstalled OE.
and then went about customising again. i think you must of added some extra files.
try reflashing your OE.

RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
I've not touched much at all. This is the first time I've gone into flash0 for anything. I have some plugins, one of which (amusingly) I've used to show you what happens:

I've disabled them all and they were removed at one point. As mentioned, I bricked my PSP today messing with these themes by making a silly mistake. I recovered it and freshly re-installed 3.40 OE. I've even tried downgrading to 3.30 OE and the same thing happens.

The plugins I have are here:

RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
ExBu - Dude, I'm sorry you had troubles helping me. :(
I'm a little confused though... You say everything in 'Game' worked except your PSX game? Is that normal? I've got about 50GB of PSX games that I'd really like to work. Is it the case that they simply won't work with a custom theme? If so I can fudge the idea right off now and go back to the normal SONY-heavy generotheme.

I've reflashed 3.40 OE twice now (for a total of 3 installs). You say I must have done something wrong when putting it in. From the description in my first post, what might I have done wrong?

I think the psx game didnt work because of the opening_plugin.rco
I got another question in wich folder are you putting your homebrew.

RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
I have none on this memory card. On this card PSX games go in GAME and PSP games go in ISO. My plugins go in the root of the card in a folder called 'seplugins' (this is explained in the link I posted about my plugins ^).
On other cards I have emulators in GAME150.
Other than that I have no other homebrew...

RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
Get the theme that you want, and only flash the topmenu and the 01-12.bmp.
And see if anything runs in the game menu.

RE: Help installing themes on 3.40 taken from this site
So... if this is the problem, how can it be rectified? Could I use everything else from the theme and keep the original opening_plugin.rco? Sounds like it... :D
