Endless Paradigm

It pains me so...

It's the one recently stickied in PSP Customization with 3.40-ready themes.

I enter my recovery menu, go to advanced and enable flash0 via usb.

I go into font and change the gb3s1518.bwfon to a blank file to free up some space - this works fine. I have stopped the process at this point and everything works as it should, ergo I am confident this not the problem.

I go into vsh/resource on my PC and get a big list of thingies.

I open one of the theme packs and get a similar list of thingies.

WARNING: Dodgy bit

I then copy the list of thingies from the pack and paste them into vsh/resource (the other list of thingies). This theoretically overwrites the normal ones with the custom ones.

I disconnect from the PC safely and start the PSP.

The theme works! ...But nothing loads in the Game menu.

Why? Oh Why?

Someone put me out of my misery, please.

Which theme did you use.Do you have your psp set to 1.50 in recovery

are you trying to use coloured font?

I'm very sorry. I didn't expect to get such a great and rapid response. I had to devour a curry Mrs Cleric had lovingly prepared. Had I have chosen not to, I would be a lesser man right now.

ExBu: I've tried Black Zone, Black/Blue, Matrix Zone & Ultimate Black Encore 4. I have tried with my PSP set to 1.5 and 3.40 in recovery.

dedat: I don't know what 'coloured font' is. I'm presuming it's a font that's coloured but I don't know enough about the aforementioned theme packs to know if I'm using it.

ORGAN: If what you say is true then why has the topic been stickied and left with the title 'Themes complete for 3.30/3.40' if this is not the case? I'm confused.

I shall now hold on for a response if you would be so graceful as to grant me a second chance. My thanks in advance.

What error do you get when you go to game and try to run something.

I get no error. I am simply greated with the background (complete with animated waves). All that happens is the text and icons etc.. disappear. Every button is unresponsive but the PSP will sit in this state indefinately - i.e. it won't shut down. The only way to get out of it is a hard reset. This brings me back the XMB as normal.
