Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

i had no success finding anything relevant..and didnt look too far into it.

its not that hard if you have hexing experience.
first use prx editor to modify a 3.71 and turn all the icons off then in a hex editor do a file compare with an original unmodified file at that will tell you the relative offsets. then you just compare those offsets with the new 3.90 - it may differ substantially but it should be enough to track down the locations - once you have them you can either try each one in turn (long slow and boring) or you can go back to your 3.71 files and make 2 copies - one unmodified another with only 1seg modified. then compare the resulting hex location with the found offsets for 3.90. whew. i don't think what ive written here is very clear so if i get time tommorow ill do it for you. if you have luck before then let me know so i don't waste my time.

DUDE YOU ARE AWESOME. I have been trying literally ALL DAY. Google definatley is NOT my friend. It took me all day to find this : http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=offsetdb1.jpg. And that barley helps. ZWhen i change the offsets/icon positions all it does is change the gameshare icon from the game section to the network/video/music section.....If you can help, that would be GREATLY appreciated. I literally just started using a hex editor yesterday and I've been learning but not to the point where i can identify stuff inside the vshmain file. But you do believe there is a way to add the 7th main xmb icon (TV) to the psp fat's xmb right? Oh yea the offsets in 3.90 differ alot, and i found a 3.71=3.90 vshmain converter but it doesn't help much unless i know the offsets for the main tv icon.

i think you still can't put the 1seg icon in the phat, as it have restrictions in the vsh_main.prx offsets for the pspphat unlike in the slim, but if you can put that in the phat psp, your cool man

it is for 3.71 but just use 3.90 prxs & rco's instead obviously don't flash any 3.71 things in there

IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. And it won't work because the offsets in 3.90 are different than 3.71. Its not the same.

in matchungs bookmark file for vshmain 3.90 he has the known icon data that says show this in this menu etc...its just hard data to determine exactly what the values in the offset represent. I don't have the key to that one, but those things do show up

3F8B0 in vshmain is the 'tv 1seg row' as he calls it...good luck from there

Yea I've known that for a while and all it does is add the 1seg sub icon into a category (I've only gotten it into the network category)

yeah if there are restrictions to prevent the 7th menu showing on a phat psp then hexing the icon may not work. however im going to have a look at it anyway. i have a phat so it should work for me if it works at all.
ill post back by tommorow - i was very late getting back.
