• Have one for Sensei as well, but his list on EP is way out of date compared to his MyAnimeList list, so just use his MAL stats.

And I believe the Compatibility is calculated by the difference in our rating.... and rarely are wee over 2-points different for Anime wee share as seen.

Oh, ok.  Then I probably won't even be that high of a compatibility even with Zinga.  our scores distribution are pretty similar and all, but the individual scores don't match as accurately (nowhere close to you and Sky).

I can't really say how good it is as a measure, as that's not my area of maths (EDIT: it's actually just a normal correlation, geometrically. I fail).  But what I do know is that the distribution of scores is NOT going to be uniform, neither is it going to be normal about the assumed average of 5, so they will have to somehow compensate for that.  There's like 5 pages in the thread, full of maths, and I really cbf reading through all of it (reading maths takes a lot of effort).

EDIT: read a bit more, seems like they want to use Pearson's correlation and scale the output from (-1,1) » (0,1).

It's also a good idea imo to also take into account some other things such as selection choice (genre of anime).... if they're not doing that already.
