RE: disabling/changing PSP loading animation?
iR Shell is a homebrew, and loads other homebrew directly.
The XMB is designed to show a gameboot before loading the homebrew.
If I recall correctly, you can change the fade time of the gameboot in the anim data of opening_plugin.rco. The gameboot will still run, but won't fade in/out.

RE: disabling/changing PSP loading animation?
Zinga// hmm... and how would you change the fade time? I got to a point where it says in the anim data:
anim_gameboot_movie @ 0x1F58
and
anim_appboot_movie @ 0x2180
and under that I would say I have to change the data in "delay" section?
there are two "delay" values that are same in both appboot_movie and gameboot_movie, and those are 300 in the beginning and 1500 in the end.
and there is an additional delay that has a value of 700 in gameboot_movie...
interesting...
thank you... will try.
EDIT///
Nope, delay times just change the time of the swipe animation, not the logo itself.
I tried changing the delay times in the anim_logo, but it only changes the sony entertainment logo, not the game boot logo... T-T..
