RE: Sony going for Affordable price
I don't see any specs for a USB (3.0) port...
3G is nice, but you need a provider for that (costs money).
Again like for the Go your umd games are worthless, you have to buy your favorite games again.
The launch price-tag for the 3DS is 248,99 EURO's over here, so if that's an indication for the NGP? For around 269 euro's you've got a 160GB PS3...
NGP: ? Euro's
Then you need a flashcart: ? Euro's
Games: ? Euro's
3G dataplan: ? Euro's
Is it region free?
Still I'm gonna buy one if it's out

Based on the fact that pal and ntsc were the only region locking on the ps3
and the fact that pal and ntsc is only because of different tv's in those regions because of different voltage or something along those lines....
and the fact that the NGP has it's own built in screen
and the fact that the previous models didn't have region locking...
also they use cards now
I'm going to say NO

RE: Sony going for Affordable price
Hardly surprising really. I don't think a console manufacturer is going to say they're making unaffordable consoles.
I think if it's similar in price to the original PSP launch price, then that's quite affordable for a piece of hardware like that.
