i can't remember what thread on what forum i read it but do a search for elf2pbp and you will get the program - then its simply a matter of getting a 3.52 recovery.prx and running the program and giving it the recovery.prx name and the display name (for when its in the game folder on your psp.)
e.g. elf2pbp.exe recovery.prx "the name you want the psp to display"

LOL.

no matter. flashing in 3.71 seems to be fixed. now, it's always possible there will still be limits (e.g. size of file being flashed) but gameboot, opening_plugins, paf, vshmain...all flashed and WORKING!!!!!!!

Schmilk...i can't remember why you said you wouldn't update upgraderco before...might you consider it now?

OK. I made various tests, but some things don't work :S
Actually, the biggest the RCO is, the buggiest it gets :S
Example : Original uncompressed topmenu_icon isn't working! Replacing Foster's icons by SOME originals work, but not with LOTS of originals...

Any suggestions?

1. Do the images need to be decompressed to work on 3.71?
I'm hearing about people simply flashing RCOs without doing anything and getting them to work.

as said in the very first post only topmenu_icon.rco seems to need decompressed icons.

It just seems odd that they'd prevent zlib compression on a single RCO.

0x00 works
0x02 works
0x01 icon doesn't show up ;o
