i wonder why they won't work - what happens exactly when you run them?
its not actually recommended to run official firmware updates from custom firmwares because it has a high chance of bricking. check your version in system settings - see what it says. so anyway you should try this only as THE last resort because if it doesn't work you will brick. if you can afford a modchip then you can consider this option but if you can't afford one i would avoid this as a solution.
