My 2 cents on homosexuality
--Warning--

This post can (and probably will be) taken as offensive by some of the community. Know that I don't mean any harm with my words as I'm just approaching the topic from a factual point of view. While some statements may be based on logical knowledge or fact, some others are purely self-opinionated. I do not mean to cause any discrimination or judgement upon the matter itself and no harm to those considered to be part of the group being discussed. LEAVE NOW IF YOU ARE AN EMOTIONALLY TOUCHY PERSON, THIS WILL DISTURB YOU.

*ahem* That being said, that paragraph is probably not even long enough to clear my donkey out of hot water

So I just wanted to drop my line of my opinion on homosexuality. First off, I'm kind of sick of society and groups of people telling others the way they should think. Usually this happens when wee try to steer clear of things that might lead to "dangerous" thought, but in reality I believe it's really the person who will decide upon such things, I think people should be allowed to think of things whether they are dangerous or not and decide upon them accordingly.

So it's obvious that I'm told that I'm a bad person for thinking about homosexuality "in a negative light" because such thinking leads to discrimination, lo and behold~! I do not discriminate against others.

But to be honest, I view homosexuality as a defect on primitive levels. Yeah, quite a bombshell eh? Let me explain. If wee consider a group of people (and not the world at large) who had someone just "born gay" then what would happen is that the said gay person would either:
  • Die like any other human being and produce no offspring
  • Be FORCED to mate with a female, producing offspring that may reproduce said "gay" trait.

If wee let alone and allowed everyone in the primitive group to do their thing the former would probably happen and such gay traits would disappear from the genetic pool. In a society where survival is a top priority, especially when one clan needs to have a larger community of clan members, forcing "straightness" is probably what the society would do to facilitate their community with newer members. So as you can see, society would make it that being gay is a defect in a sense as they would probably try the gay person to mate with the opposite sex (or shame them into it).

BUT wee are not at primitive levels any more and producing offspring to facilitate a newer generation has a MUCH lower priority in peoples lives. I don't remember when gay-ness became such a widespread thing (believe me, there are many people who are gay, specially since they can't technically reproduce) so such things have to come from the society itself.

I've talked to a lot of people about it and one of the most interesting points is that gay-ness is produced from a higher society. Why? Because people have a lot of time to experiment with rather secure lives and as human beings, wee are curious to experiment with different things and changing "the norm". Hence I do believe that people can "go gay".

Essentially though, while wee all consider ourselves as highly civilized and educated, primitive traits still do tend to shine through at times (sexual lust, greed, love of eating fatty foods, etc.). It's because of this that I believe where all the hate comes from for gay people, as people do it subconsciously relating back to their primitive times.

What do I think? Well, if wee were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the time when wee were wearing lioncloth, I'd probably discriminate against the said gay person so that he would act like everyone else, gayness isn't exactly something you can see in a person nor is it something preferable in the sense of reproduction and survival of our race.

But, wee live in today's world and that to be honest, I don't really care whether gay people have children or not (then again, as much emphasis is being put upon oneself and not family, it's interesting to see how wee are starting to decline in some areas), therefore I'd have no need to discriminate against them. Hell, I don't even support the fact of getting rid of a gay person because it's also at a primitive level that all members of a community are important, which is probably why the primitive group would WANT the gay person to produce offspring and start a family.

In all seriousness though, I will not look upon being gay as a -non-defective normal thing- because it isn't. People shouldn't feel bad about it though as much about the way I have no bilateral sight. You're born with it, deal with it, just stop telling me that I can't view it as it is.

This post has not been revised, so take the words lightly as this topic is very touchy.

P.S. This post is fudgeing short for what I would write, so if you feel that I'm not elaborating as much as I need to on some parts, feel free to point it out, I'll be very slow to respond as I'm busy atm. :P

P.S.S. IF YOU HAVE AN ARGUMENT AGAINST MY STATEMENT YOU BETTER NOT HAVE TL;DR'ed MY FRIGGING POST.

MY SIG IS FUCKING DEAD
