Seriously, as if you would 'borrow' a computer and not do anything about the existing OS and poo poo installed on it.  Especially because "he can't install new software because he doesn't have the admin password", lololol.

Backup reformat reinstall, that's the way.

Also, don't be an idiot and make two backups sticking them right next to each other.  At the very least, take the effort to move one of them somewhere, even if it's into a cupboard.  So that if your computer explodes, there's less chance of it destroying your second copy.

Also, he's way too paranoid, I mean, 3 layers of locks, and daily dual backups?

And searching ebay, and craigslist, for months, lol.
