No surprise there. Sony did a major code cleanup in the 6.xx series which now makes it a lot harder to exploit. They learned a thing or two from 5.03.

Also, the bigger the memory stick is the longer the access times are. Right now 32 GB is the biggest ms around, which would make it the slowest. Defrag your ms. If it's a 2 GB, format it as FAT not FAT32 because FAT32 works better with small files (mp3, jpg, save games, etc) while FAT works better for large files (ISOs, movies, etc).
