...seem to be a bit of a fad with many tech devices made in the past few years or something.  Sure, they're relatively new, but do you think it's a bit overdone?

For me:
- USB memory stick indicator is blue
- All case power/HDD indicator LEDs are blue
- Motherboard has several blue indicator LEDs (some red/yellow/green used for the power indicator it has, but blue used for everything else)
- My new speaker has a blue power LED

Have had plenty of other devices with blue LEDs (outnumber those with other colours).
Do you have many blue LED devices?
