finally got my PSP 3000 except...

Exclamation finally got my PSP 3000 except...
i finally managed to get a mystic silver PSP 3000 from ebay. nice deal, just had to pay 32 euros.
the only stupid thing is, the screen is damaged » some kind of crash or whatever.
the other stupid thing is, that I'm still a student and I'm out of money to get a replacement screen for 35 euros... Whyowhy anybody want to donate for my replacement screen?

best thing: when i browsed the memorystick inside the psp, i found ChickHEN files.
so i blindly browsed in the XMB to test it, but just got a crash. so i guess its still on 5.03 firmware.
