i finally managed to get a mystic silver PSP 3000 from ebay. nice deal, just had to pay 32 euros.
the only stupid thing is, the screen is damaged » some kind of crash or whatever.
the other stupid thing is, that I'm still a student and I'm out of money to get a replacement screen for 35 euros...
anybody want to donate for my replacement screen?
best thing: when i browsed the memorystick inside the psp, i found ChickHEN files.
so i blindly browsed in the XMB to test it, but just got a crash. so i guess its still on 5.03 firmware.

Why don't you check what firmware it is on under system information?
you want people to donate 32 euros,.. O_o,.. why not ask someone to loan you 32 euro and then save 1 euro a day,.
hope 5.03 will install! but missing out on a new screen and an added mic,. i would have tried to get a PSP-2000,.. cf550gen :)

damaged = cracked screen, still can barely see the right bottom, but not much.

i guess its 5.03. i blindly browsed to the ChickHEN files and it crashed.
i still possess a PSP 2000, one of the first ever released with a TA-085v1 mobo and it runs 5.50 GEN-D3.
the PSP 3000 is just for fun, maybe i will continue with theme developing on a better screen :P

nah. the PSP go! went from 250 euros to 200 euros here in germany xD kinda funny how bad the selling is.
still thinking of an animated organ concept (reviving the old dusty theme :P)

i can confirm that the psp 3000 runs 5.03. :D
i blindly used mhuspeed v3 and it worked well. (could see the right bottom of the display, a bit what's left over)
then used 5.03 GEN-C and tested an iso. worked well too.
now i just need a new display...
Connect to TV using AV cables?
