You're not an easy mode player are you?  No offense, but 90% of people know I know say they like agi heros are em players, because agi heros rape up em.

Lol no. In fact I don't usually play AI, unless its really needed.

Lol, I said nothing about AI...

I'm talking about easy mode.  So stuff like -apem or -arem (as opposed to -ap and -ar).  Basically in "em" you get way more gold upkeep so it's not as dependent on your laneing skills.  Also the towers are weaker and some other stuff.

feinicks Wrote:I like agi heroes cause they are fun, and yes.. they rape like hell. But the most potent heroes are melee strength (like troll and axe),though I usually take the role of a ganker in matches, so an agi hero suits that purpose.

Well, if troll's raping stuff all over the place, then you probably are playing "em".

Normally, troll's not great (you're are talking about troll warlord right?), doesn't have a nuke or any form of disable, so you're going to be quite useless for much of the game (probably just sit neutrals farming all day or something).  By the time you farm yourself up a helm and an MKB/Orchids (that's when you're really beast), the game's probably ended already.  Even if you do get yourself really farmed, you still can't really chase shit down (no disable/slow/stun), and they'll just aim you.

In em ofcourse, it's a different story, you do rape up stuff, since it's quite easy to get multiple endgames in em without too much effort.

feinicks Wrote:though I usually take the role of a ganker in matches, so an agi hero suits that purpose.

Normally, most agil heros (not all) aren't great at ganking.  Most agil heros sit there farming so they can carry later on.  Ganking heros are usually heavy nukers and/or disablers.  So good gankers are stuff like Lina, Lion, Tiny, Priestess, Nightstalker (at night), Pudge...

lol... Troll is the ultimate towards the end if in the hand of the right player. He is item dependent and does not matter much early on, but if properly equipped, he can take out entire teams (obviously if not well equipped in counters).
However, that was one example. Almost all heroes are cappble of being imba if played properly. For example, ursa warrior can kill roshan alone at level 6, but if stunned, silenced, slowed, then he's dead too.

I usually participate in ganks (if playing with drow, or windrunner or like), not initiate. If I do get mirana, luna etc then yea.. I do initiate them as well. Pudge yea... really nice hero. I even like Huskar, Sand king, Lion...

Not all agi heroes are end game heroes. Drow and Luna are mid-game. Ursa is early to mid (and can carry as well). Razor too is mid game hero. But it really depends on how they are played.

And no.. the only mode I play is -apspso or -apso lol

Yeah, for RPGs, controllers probably better

That really depends on the type of RPG. Dragon Age, for instance just does not feel as awesome on the PS3 as it does on the PC (Played both versions), but Mass Effect does.

Don't really see how that's useful, maybe only very few and far between instances.  Mouse moves the crosshair to exactly were you need with extreme precision and speed (from years of practice when using Windows normally), that's pretty much exactly what you need with FPS'.
Yeah.. I prefer mouce of controllers for FPS. The precision, the sensitivity etc everything is obviously more beneficial. The only game where I did like shooting using a controller was the Halo series.

Assassinator Wrote:Also I've seen RTS' on consoles before... how to effectively micro your units with an analog controller is still a mystery to me.  Also no hotkeys, unit groupings and such.

I think that is done by accessing different menu's and pausing the game while in menu mode. Dunno. Can't remember which game had this.
