You're not an easy mode player are you?  No offense, but 90% of people know I know say they like agi heros are em players, because agi heros rape up em.

Dota's usually fairly balanced.  Not completely balanced, but nothing's really too imba.  Well, at least in standard mode.  Unless stuff changed a LOT lately...
