nickxab Wrote:Hey i think that i found something.
I made a ctf with the 5.55 modules and resources and i tried to run the G.I jones but it has the same problem.
So it must read a file from the kd folder. Also i think that is the same file that blocks the psn.

yeah pretty sure its a load*.prx from the kd folder :(

i know they can't be decrypted, but I never tried psardump WITHOUT decrypting...maybe just dumping the file encrypted can do the trick...the reason i say that is the current psardumper will NOT decrypt kernel modules from the update because the encryption key is not included :(  *but that key IS known by people on the internet, so SOMEONE can make this work..unfortunately I am not the one that can do that :( *again i kick myself for not attending my programming courses at college

Oh...the other thing about the 5.55 files in a ctf is once the gameboot is over, ctf resources are no longer used and its using flash files so its too late to be looking at the ctf to make the game work Erk   maybe wee need a new Gxmb that loads newer firmware files when the psp is in game mode :P

I asked someone about loading cxmb via game.txt and they said cxmb won't load in game mode :( or won't make a difference :(

The REAL way to be testing this is to make your pandora battery and start flashing 5.55 files...but again, im pretty sure its the KD folder that is the bugger here :(
