Real translating doesn't work, because in all seriousness, noone here can TL properly.

Also because for what anime extract he selected, there's already a few translations out there, so everyone will just 'borrow' or 'borrow'-n-edit, both of which is pretty pointless also.


Real TLing tests your translation skill = everyone here would either fail or cheat. As for TS and stuff, doubt many people know how to do that.
Parody subbing (making up alternative/funny stuff to fit the dialogue) tests your creativity.
