I'm playing the psp version and I'm cheating using cwcheat, afterall chrondia I'm pretty sure is only in the PSP version, I only maxed out my levels and got uber equipment I didn't want to totally cheat the fight I mean then what's the point?

Yeah, I realized it was PSP only... a bit too late (edited my last post just before you posted this).

Yeah, cheating to the point that you can't possibly loose is no fun. I generally cheat bit by bit. Make myself stronger. Attempt to fight boss. Doesn't work? Improve my strategy, or make myself a bit more stronger. I don't go maxing out all my stats until my characters are walking gods. That's no fun.

From my vague memory of the past (whihc might not be perfectly accurate), in FF5, you can absorb like 1/2 the attacks of that boss by wearing certain equipment. (I remember something like coral gem or something? Absorbs all water attacks and stuff). Makes that boss much easier.
