RE: Wii Modchip question
Well you should have done a bit more research and bought the d2pro9 instead but the good news is ur not screwed :) All you have to do is buy an spi addon. You solder the spi flash on, then solder the chip to the wii-clip. You can find which points to solder on either the d2pro website or maybe the wii-clip website for pictures. Also you will need a programmer to update the firmware of the chip to the latest 9-wire firmware.
So you need to find these things:
Programmer - http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/D2Pr...p-115.html
SPI Flash - http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/D2Pr...p-116.html
You don't have to buy from that site of course. I'm just showing you what they look like. Idk if I have seen any other site selling the spi separately except that though.
Oh by the way I'm pretty sure you would have to do this b/c the wii-clip doesn't have as many points for the 13/15/19 wire. It is specifically only for the 9-wire. Also I have a d2pro9 (with spi already built in) + wii-clip too. It works great!
