Typically 6 months or more, after US releases, when they arrive here.  And the price?  Whilst games sell for around US$50 over there, they're usually AU$90 here (~US$83).

talking about a pain...in my country some games cannot ever be seen and if the game is popular and ever reach here the price is ridiculous

when i bought my psp my choice the game with was like restricted to 5 choices!  if by now i didn't mod my psp then i wouldn't even use my psp anymore.  (it slept for almost 1 year before i modded it! )

i want to go in Japan too =T.T= i want to see they technologies and Japanese also act funny =>.≥ well i watched in a film :P  oh but they also eat bugs! =O_O= that's scary =x.x= i don't know if there are samurais who chase tourist either! ahh! got to be well prepared.  I'll bring my mothers cooking knife.  =^_^= just to be safe!
