Seriously, when it comes to games and stuff, why do those of us outside of Japan get screwed so bad? I mean, look at the Japanese PC-PSP store. They've got Resident Evil 2 AND Metal Gear Solid, and they've had them for a while. They also have waaaaaaaaay more "Arcade" games, like Echochrome, which is out there, but still has no announced release date in Europe or the US, despite EVERYTHING in the game being in English. Plus, they got better colors of PS2 and PSP. I mean, as a small example, they got the white PSP for the same price as the black one in a core pack, no bundle bullshit, no Darth Vader.

It just sorta pisses me off. Burning
Well. . . .

ASIANS RULE!
Agreed.

The reason is that its easier to deploy stuff faster near home.

Its probably a pain in the donkey to export stuff to other countries (tariffs, trade restrictions, foreign gaming boards, etc)
am in neither of the mentioned countries.. in fact, for me, it generally worse. PSP is available only in black here. No accesories etc. Games too are entirely random... some games I get before you guys (Wipeout series etc) while other never ever come....

so overall, I see nothing you have to complain about! Hahaha

That is the reason..  They also get everything cheaper.
If you think it's bad there, look at Australia.

Typically 6 months or more, after US releases, when they arrive here.  And the price?  Whilst games sell for around US$50 over there, they're usually AU$90 here (~US$83).

eww, I guess it can always get worst
games here are an avg. US$40- US$ 90 depending on from where they were imported... if its directly from Japan, or Singapore, Malaysia and all, they are relatively cheaper... if they are imported from the US or Europe etc, they are filthy expensive.... GOW is for US$ 70

Holy poo poo, that's insane. What the hell goes through these people's minds when they're deciding how to translate the price from country to country?
Solution: Move to Japan
