chobits for the win. lucky star is nice (need to catch up on that by the way) and imho naruto should be in there, though many will disagree

They are, IMO, the best anime of their genres.

-Historical Fiction/Action: Naruto Shippuuden
-Comedy: Lucky Star

i havent watched that many... but chobits is sort of a must see, and only 24 eps so GO WATCH IT!

by the way i might do my philosophy coursework on Chobits rofl, oh well most ppl do it on the matrix

Oh man....I've seen so much anime it's rediculous...

I would probably add Fate/Stay Night which is very good imo. I LOVE the fighting and art.

Karas if you want an advent children type action, amazing animation.

His and Her Circumstances if you want drama and romance.

Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal is to beautiful for words, romance/action.

Princess Mononoke is a must see. One of my favorites.

Cowboy Bebop is also a must see, action/adventure.

12 Kingdoms was awesome imo, wonderful art, action, and story all around.

Hellsing is a classic, as well as Record, Lodoss War. Both are a must watch.

Ghost in the Shell TV Seasons 1 + 2 is one of my all time favorites. The art, action, and story are unforgettable!!!

i said it before and ill say it again.. my fav. new action anime is Darker Then Black.. just watch the first episode... i disagree about naruto cause its over-rated but what's all this about lucky star? ive heard of it but ive never seen it.. you guys are making me curious as to what im missing

lol, it might be overrated but what has that got to do with the anime? what is your real opinion, what's not good about naruto? i mean sure theres better series and the filler is spoon but i did enjoy it a lot...

i just thought it was too long... i like long anime but not with that many fillers and the fact that i just can't stand the character naruto... prolly cause hes the exact opposite of my personality... i just thought it should been more to the point i mean do they really need ten episodes of sarutobi trying to remove orochimaru soul? i didnt say it was bad just could have been alot better.. and cartoon network just needs to stop ruining anime

That's my wife's favorite anime, lol.

As for naruto, I enjoyed the first...I dunno...80 episodes, and then it just went downhill. I was really excited about shippuden, but that wore off and it's just not all that exciting anymore. I can't stand the fillers anymore...
