RE: Plastic Memories Episode 2
Interesting that they revealed her life span so early in the show.
So 2000 hours huh - around 2-3 months, enough for a season to cover. (I'm hoping that they do end the story this season)

RE: Plastic Memories Episode 2
Hmm. I wonder if this is an indication of what the rest of the show will be like? Light-hearted comedy with some drama.
It's giving the show a weird feel for me. It's not clicking with me because I'd prefer if it would take itself a bit more seriously but judging from this episode that doesn't look like it'll happen. The characters aren't particularly likeable either, honestly, but there is still some time to change that.
At least my wish for no Mizugaki x Isla is coming true - Isla is meant to be quite a bit younger than Mizugaki it seems, if Michiru is to be believed.

That does seem likely with this being an original story. I would be surprised if this is longer than 13 episodes now that they've already revealed her life span. Doing so might work in the show's favour. Hopefully!

RE: Plastic Memories Episode 2
I have a feeling it'll move towards drama, as the whole situation seems to be designed for it, but they may keep it in a somewhat positive tone.
Despite this, I don't think this show will try to make much of comment on the idea of a future filled with androids (unlike Chobits, for example) - at least not in a negative sense.
Isla's enthusiastic/clumsy girl personality, who's gonna die is indeed an interesting mix. How she degrades throughout the show (and changes) is likely going to be a central topic.
I think the sensation of unease may be the goal here.

Inorganic objects are the same. Just with a digital system, you can just copy the data across. :)

RE: Plastic Memories Episode 3
Character development episode.
Interesting that Isla struggles with putting on clothes, but can drive a car fine.
Also that chair is really interesting - lights up and all. It's almost as if it could be used for VR gaming...
