You mean the outside? or the pins?
The outside definitely won't have any real gold, since that doesn't even connect to transfer data. It'll either be pained or a gold colored alloy (copper + some other stuff?). I've once had a USB with a plastic outside, and the only metal bit is the pins.
As for the pins, don't know.

if it wasn't so ridiculously extraneous, i would go buy a flash drive just to mod it.
