So i finally got around to modding my flash drive, as of now all i added was a golden connection to it (and the data + and - wires are ENORMOUS) i think im gonna tear apart a watch and add some clockwork to it... seems hard, but that makes it fun :D
you know, wee'd probably be able to appreciate what you did if you showed us pics. :7

add clockwork to it? that does nothing and doesn't move?

i soldered a green LED to my SanDisk Cruzer, and took off the stock orange one. seeing as they're surface mount LEDs that is HARD

of course it will move but will not do anything but please the eye. and this is a cruzer so ill take off the useless white part to have a hole (no puns) that i can put it all in, and ill post pics once school is over :3

how will it move

you need a motor to do that

or i could use the vibration of a quartz crystal, also found in the clock ;) actually i was just gonna rearrange the gears in the watch to fit the hole i prepared, and then power the watch (which it still technically is) from the 3 volts in on the flash drive already

its gold... trust me
this begs that eternal question: why?

Well, because gold is the best conductor on the planet, and with the titanic wires and all, i was able to copy about a gigabytes worth of data in 5 minutes (with my computer that's really good, idk about you guys)
