This is really fudgeed up if you think about it. Like a child kicking and screaming NO!!... NO!!... The truth should be posted on every site out there. They have removed everything that made PS3 the system that only does everything.

Besides, it not like Sony never had problems with exploding batteries.

It's like an attack by utilising the "lesser informed people" out there to hate these hackers.
Ultimately, it's one of the only few things Sony can do to "fight back".

Spot on, it's all about public awareness; but this is a double edged sword as people may just start hating sony and come on...they HAVE a competition to smack them upside their heads if they don't get the picture.

Sony just doesn't get it, they aren't the top dog anymore...

I think its a smart move from Sony. They want to give a message: "If you fudge with our console you don't only fudge with us but you fudge with ALL the users." Although I'm not happy with this I do blame the hackers for this, not Sony.
Piracy affects everybody also the users who doesn't download ISO's.

I do think Sony get legal problems with this. Microsoft Xbox did something similair?

wee all knew they would do this. What I would love to see is that by the next generation of console hardware, Nintendo manages to get the superiority again, leaving Sony fall flat on their face, seeing they aren't invincible like they seem to think.

I doubt that will happen but hey the 3DS on the mobile market is a good start^^
