RE: My new PC I call it "Render MAX 3000"
1. I only had $800.00c to spend
2. I will be upgrading some stuff when I get more money
750wat PSU,
COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler
Intel Core i7
EVGA P55 For the win SLI 132-LF-E657-KR LGA1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
two TB disk drive
& about 4 more GB's of ran

But as of now I don't have any problems rendering anything in 3Ds MAX
just need another $500.00c bucks lol

After I get the new Motherboard I can also add a second GPU

You probably would've been better off getting a Core i5 750 if you planned to upgrade later, though the i5 doesn't have that much of an upgrade path to really make it worth it.  Actually, I wouldn't do a Q8400 to any Core i7 right now or any time in the foreseeable future if you don't have that much money to spare.
Alternatively could've gone Phenom II route - AMD has a better upgrade path than Intel right now.
Otherwise, those specs are pretty good.
