270 bucks is waaaay too much!! the 3G is slow as fudge and 8 gigs are waay too few! you will regret it after 2 weeks. get 16 gigs minimum man and if you can the 3gs!

but but... I have a iPod touch 2G 8GB and I love it and as far as I know it has the same specs as a iPhone 3G and I don't feel slowness... that's why I want to replace it with an iPhone... and I can only spent 300€, all you get on Amazon and Ebay for that is a iPhone 3G 8GB....

And for the guy, after persistent hourly calls since yesterday I finally reached someone.... his girlfriend picked up and said the guy forgot his phone at her house and she also said that she will tell him that I called.... sounds very fishy but meh let's see what happens...
