Recently (starting this season), it seems transport streams are starting to appear on torrent... Do I see change?

Good for the fansubbers I guess.

But torrent is the wrong system for these IMO. I mean how many normal people go and download these raw, interlaced, 2GB things encoded in an extremely inefficient video format and stored in a container format with an extremely massive overhead, and littered with TV advertisements...? = how many seeds and peers would you get...

I've noticed some, but very, very few.

And yes, it would be more appropriate if they were served on a XDCC Bot.

Zero-Raws brought some new ef RAWs yesterday.... and honestly... they are in a mess

Proof this is a proper HD Rip - but the broadcaster absolutely ruined the source, even a normal upscale would have done for gods sake,..

I was thinking of working with this but this is just too bad - I'm going to watch the subs on my PSP but if I'm going to process anything, it'll be with the DVDs..

It would be a normal upscale....

TV Stations don't do remastering or anything.

Yeah I done basic tests but it looked bad anyway - it still seemed blurry - which is just like the Chihiro release anyway

I heard Clannad's video is also extremely poo poo. Won't be much better than ef, if I have to guess. Probably not as blurry though.

Eclipse's encoder was complaining in darkhold about rainbowed dotcrawl... That guy has been encoding like forever, and has probably seen all kinds of dodgy sources. So for him to be complaining, it must be bad stuff indeed.
