For Windows 7 to work they will need to compete with Leopard and (Ubuntu) Linux... I wonder what innovative features they will come up with'borrow'/copy and if it will be a success, or just another marketing hype like vista.

Considering thery have brought the launch foward a year I doubt it will be that innovative, though there is still a team working on winFS and they are also still playing with the original longhorn core so I more expect Vienna to be windows "this is what wee wanted to do last time" Edition.
