people are getting really excited about the next windows, which is known as Windows 7 or Windows Se7en. Wee saw a lot of discussions and rumors going around, especially 2 posts posted by Microsoft’s testers, the first post was deleted after a short while but the cached version still remains on istartedsomething.  The next post also revealed few screenshots of what the tester claims to be the GUI of Windows Se7en. This post is not yet deleted and can be found in here.

The poster claims that these screenshots are from the Windows Se7en M1 (milestone 1)

Here is the translated Version from the Original chinese post: (google translator was used)

wasn't longhorn supposed to be before Vista, or something like the beta project of Vista?
Longhorn is an Abandoned Work-in-Progress by Microsoft, before what is now known as Vista was born.

Vienna (a.k.a. Blackcomb) is the previous codename for Windows 7 - Windows 7 is what the supposed name is for the next full-fledged Windows Operating System will be

Those screen shots are 99% Fake. They are Vista Shots with tiny touch ups that were Photoshopped or added with 3rd Party Applications.

Complete, utter, bullchocolate, to put it bluntly - however, those to think that may very well be mistaken.

Not only is it a screen on Wikipedia, but on many places now.... its known as "M1" or  "Milestone 1" even "Build 6519.1" released December 20th, and, this is a much more convincing site > http://www.thinknext.net/archives/2150
