Well, with dd, what blocksize you're using?  If it's too small, it'll take forever to copy, lol.

I'm using a block size of 512. That way, a good sector won't get ignored with a bad one. Sure does take a while, though.

Haha maybe. It actually goes pretty fastnwith the low blocksize, its just slow now because its at the bad section of the disk.
