This is for all the Mac users having problems installing the PSPSDK. It doesn't get any easier than this, I did everything I could to make it fast, and updated'able.

Note:

This is only for Intel Mac's, because building a universal version is too hard, and Apple will stop supporting PowerPC Mac's once OS 10.6 is released.

About:

Full PS2dev.org SVN PSPSDK up to date.

All the build tools are included, so updating is not a problem.

All libs up to date.

PRXTool included.

Scripts I added:

Code:

sudo update-sdk_full

(Will build the hole SDK)

Code:

sudo update-sdk

(Will only do a SDK update)

Code:

sudo update-libs

(Will build all the SDK libs)

Also included:

Code:

sudo svn-sclean

(To clean the .svn folder so updating is quicker, or end any problems you might have)

Code:

sudo clean-work

(To delete everything in the SDK work folder)

Note on the SDK scripts:

You only need to run "update-sdk_full" if GCC, or NewLib is changed/updated.

Requirements:

1: An Intel Mac :P
2: XCode 3 installed (3.1 would be better)
3: 1.4GB of hard drive space for the SDK, and build tools.

"They" don't the PSPSDK is an open source project, I just made a full software package with, everything needed to updated the SDK, it also has the MacPorts system, so you can install most Linux apps, like KDE, some Gnome apps, and much more.

Didn't post here for a while now and this topic is probably outdated (last post about 2 years ago^^), but would someone mind telling me if this kit is going to work with my new Macbook Pro 15" MacOSX 10.6 Snow Leopard? I'd really like to install PSPSDK so thanks in advance.

No it will not, the installer fails on 10.6. I haven't tried to setup the SDK in some time. The last time I did, there was a problem with Mac Ports/GCC. I will not be able to fix the problem since my Mac is broken.
