School Days IMO isn't even on the same tier. The story is unrealistic, people's behavior are illogical, and everything's just fake and dramatized. School days was a whole of "yeah, whatever" the whole way.

Ok, it has it's good points as well, but wouldn't break 7/10 in my books.

I'm going to watch Nodame Cantabile sometime. looking at the ratings, it's probably a superior show.

As a one off. School Days´s high points make it feel more worth your while than KgNE..

or at least for me anyway. Hihi

No way. And I never watch stuff twice, so everything is a one off for me.

And School Days is like 6.3 on anidb, which shows quite a lot of people people think similarly.

Totally forgot to post back.

Anyway yeah I watched it... and while some emotions in this are total candy-floss... you can't help but feel (or at least me.. xD) that this story not only works out better, but the fact they changed the story quite fundamentally (flashbacks to what happened after the accident) is quite an important factor.

In fact, calling it "Next Season" was just not right.

Anyway, while the original ending was honest in its own right.. this 4-Episode special hits the sweet spot nicely, giving Haruka a say and putting Mitsuki in her place (which she doesn't in the original ending, she gets off way too easy).

Good stuff.

8/10
