Oh lawd, if you haven't seen this yet don't read this freakin thread theres BOUND to be spoilers so don't ruin the fun.

O-KAY I started watching Next Season last night, first episode...

LOL

So... even in the Next Season he loses Haruka??

HAHAHA FAIL!

Takayuki is a wimp anyway... Hihi

ahaaaahaa

anyway double you tee eff happened to Takayuki and Shinji anyway? Did they get character design makeovers? They have different hair and skin colour!! Shinji isn't ginger anymore! XD

The thing was so freakin cheesy happy I couldn't help but laugh after that ULTRA OTT start before the intro that blows the realistic characteristic out of the water..

Also, its like Takayuki has been TAKEN OUT of the show and REPLACED with a better, braver, cooler and more couragous, talkative guy than all of first season... so major double you tee eff.

Oh god will this be as bad as I think it can?
haven't seen it

Yeah, sorry, that wasn't very productive.

It's definitely on the list of stuff to watch.
ive never heard of this anime before. any good?

This is the continuation of the first season of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

Wee talk an awful lot about the ending in the Discussion thread so I'll quote myself..

Quote: Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
     Genre: Drama, Romance

When a load of Drama & Romance gets blended, this would be the result... I couldn't help but hate the ending, but that's personal opinion.. an OVA of an alternative ending which would go the other way has started to be released, by the way ~ check it out. ANYWAY, this is an excellent series about the consequences of Time, Love and Hurt. It is what it is. Simple as that.

My Rating ~ 9/10

Additionally, I would thorougly recommend it as at least a one-watch for any anime fan. It's unique enough for the attention.

Though, if I had to choose. I would choose School Days over Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. [*gasp*]

yea drama and romance isn't really my thing, especially in a anime, i usually go for anime with mindless epics fight scenes and stuff. You say its good though so i might check it out.

although yea, really doesn't look like my kind of anime lol, however it has an R rating because of mild nudity, it might be worth it if theres boobs lol

there are on the DVDs.

xD

School Days (that's an Anime, by the way) is saucier with a crazy ending...

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is much more serious, with Dramatic Romance being the heavy theme with comedy slices here and there..

Lean further towards Romance and you might enjoy the Key/Kyoto productions including Air, Kanon and Clannad.

Or you can have Mecha Comedy Romance with Full Metal Panic!

School Days IMO isn't even on the same tier. The story is unrealistic, people's behavior are illogical, and everything's just fake and dramatized. School days was a whole of "yeah, whatever" the whole way.

Ok, it has it's good points as well, but wouldn't break 7/10 in my books.

I'm going to watch Nodame Cantabile sometime. looking at the ratings, it's probably a superior show.
