Sluts. Homo sluts. At least I haven't been able to find any Centrino ASM,
whereas I have found information on their slutty sexual habits. :O
Oh, I see now.  Hmm, interesting.
As an aside, I wonder how nVidia is going - apparently, I've heard that they could be aiming their cards towards replacing the CPU's function a little - as in handling non graphics data.  Over a year ago, there were some apps designed to use the 7800GTX's pixel shaders for processing data instead (If I recall correctly, at the time the 7800GTX could do ~160 gigaflops, whereas the Intel P4 EE could do ~5 gigaflops)
I've heard that they've since released an SDK.

O.o

That's insane. I don't know anybody who makes that much. Anybody. And I
know some rich pplz.

Fur Elise for the win
Lol

Wow, lol, getting off-topic, but meh.  This Sudoku Solver thread has no other purpose :P

I hadn't heard that, but it is a fact that single cell processing is going the way of the dinosaurs.
A few weeks ago Intel released information on an 80 core processor they've developed that can
perform a trillion (that's 1000000000000) operations per second. I don't know what the advantage
to having a graphics card complement a cpu is, other than the fact that it would be modular and
therefor more flexible, but I'd support it. If nVidia wants to give me another cpu more power to them,
I dunno how Intel would feel about that though :P

On a sidenote, that Intel processor with 80 cores could actually perform more operations a second, but
they have yet to build any software to support it. :unlove:

On another sidenote, my CS prof wants to attach homing signals to children so he always knows where
they are and what they're doing. :@

80 core processor?!?!  Well, that'd probably be a fair way off.  If I recall correctly, they planned the 8 core processor for around 2008.
Even if they did have an 80 core, they wouldn't release it anytime soon (it's all about business :P)

RE: [PC] Sudoku Solver
Yeah, its still definitely in development, I heard IBM and other processor companies are
developing similar processors. Intel claims it'll be out for consumption in 5 years. Wee'll see.

Here's the article if you care. http://www.eetimes.com/news/latest/showA...=193005741

Supposedly it uses less electricity than a light-bulb or something. :P
Crazy.

On a sidenote its frustrating when you're programming and something that SHOULDN'T work
does work. @.@

Argh. There's nothing more painful than trying to discover why you're program is working, then
make it stop working, just so that you can finally make it work again.

Meh.  My suggestion would be to make it longer than an hour though.  Otherwise it's too obvious :P

my suggestion would be to make it more than $10
