This is really a quick and small app I developed, just for fun.

Actually, I was intrigued by the Sudoku game, and wondered what it was like to make a solving algorithm.  Well, I completely it fairly quickly, and the program eventually developed into me playing around with GDI.

Fairly pointless app, but, since this is my dumping grounds (XD), I'm posting it here anyways :D

:dl: Download (278KB)

Oh, and By the way, I was planning to release the source code, but never got round to cleaning it up enough :S

^^That's mean...

Do I care though?
>_>
<_<

Meh.  My suggestion would be to make it longer than an hour though.  Otherwise it's too obvious :P
hey i love suduko... this would just take the fun away!!!

By the way is michaelp beaker??? beakers sig flashes up in michaelp's sig!!!!
^^Nah, michaelp just has BeAkEr in it (he's at this forum too By the way)
I've got to say I'm impressed with this. The other programs are
just apps, but for a fast job, this sure is well done. Mainly it
fails fast, I could only break it a little. :D

Did you use techniques like XY-Wings, Swordfishing, etc? Or just
nice data structures?

IMO I broke my CS professor's Soduko Solver in like two seconds. This
took me three tries before it would have looped forever (and you even
warned me about that in the app).

I'm a fan. ^.^
