RE: How do i do a partition
i think it is less about spoon feeding and trying to convey a way of thinking about it, and a change in attitude.
there are plenty of people who grow up unable to think for themselves (i had a very bad start at this) and have a general bad attitude when it comes to doing the work for themselves, and thinking logically through a problem.
being punitive, and short in your reply, doesn't do anything to help people with this shortcoming. instead, they will just focus on the trite reply, and churn around in their heads how much of a turd you're being. on a big site, that's kind of the only way to deal with people like this because there are too damn many to begin to help.
this being a small site, and heavily dependent on a healthy community, i think it's important to at least try a more constructive approach to it.
and haha again liquid, i don't mean to just argue about nothing for no reason. i know where you're coming from, and i would guess that all of this stuff came sort of naturally to you (same for many of you). i just know what it is to be on the other side of the fence, not know where to start, and just feel kind of worthless about it.
and as always, i encourage anybody to put in their opinion, tell me how full of spoon i am, etc.
edit: and for clarification, to amzter and in general, I'm speaking in generalities, and not about amzter as a specific case.
edit^2: lmao at new word filter! Spoon chocolate Spoon chocolate Spoon « weird...

RE: How do i do a partition
Lol.
Well, it's a small site, but I don't like questions (unless they're amusing :P).
There are plenty of larger PC/PSP/whatever help communities around - if you need help, (after searching Google), please use those sites instead - they'll also probably give better advice, and generally are more willing to do so.
This was originally planned to be a fun community, not one where people get help for free, or members have to search for stuff for other members.
