i know where to get the pre realese, you should to
and it was just an idea, what's your problem?
and how do you know it is driver related?
ix_stylez has no sound because they can't install the driver, it's well documented on HP and Microsoft websites as well as several forums that there isn't a Waikiki driver for vista yet, there may never be one. ix_styles has tried all the possible vista driver combo's through the course of this thread and came up blank.
No-one except developers and enthusiasts who know what there doing should try the pre-beta release, it's not finished yet and opens up several massive fudge-off security holes which didn't exist before in it's current build.
so if i revert back to windows XP x64 will it fix the sounds?
I'll give it a go tonight

If a 64 bit driver exists.
Since you said "revert" though, I suppose one does.
