How do e know what the media broadcasted was true? Yes, planes hit it. Yes, many innocent people lost their lives. That much can't be denied.

Neither do you really know whether the world is round or not - you've never actually gone up and seen it for your own eyes (and even if you did, you can't rule out that no-one is trying to trick your eyes).
