there was even a pun on eps 2-4 (i can't remember) which can't be understood unless you're indonesian and know a bit of japanese (it's well known indonesian pun which is translated to japanese. wouldn't be funny until you translate it back to indonesian)

actually this anime triggered a debate between malaysian and indonesian in some forums.
i think it's because doki put "indonesian for good morning" note while actually malaysian also has the same phrase for it.

Watched episode 8 of Nichijou.  Either I'm not getting the jokes, or they don't seem to be terribly effective.  I mean, there's like a really long build up for some of them, and the punchline isn't even that great.
Do any of the sub groups put more notes into the translation?  Using Underwater-Commie here.
