There is no need to take it apart past getting the mobo out. Work on a big clean surface. When it's apart closely look at every part for any kind of damage.
Also be very... careful with the ribbon cable clips.

use i small razor blade or your fingernails
be EXTREMELY careful especially with your fingernails
and with a razor blade in your hands i suppose too xD
