In many cases if you take it apart then put it back together, it might work. If someone took it apart at one point and did put it back together correctly it causes strange problems. ID storage regen might work. There is a elf the does a full format of the NAND then use DC8 to repart it can also fix some problems. I had a PSP once that I could not flash until I did this.
Thanks for the suggestions!
I did recreate a new ID Storage but she will still freeze randomly.... so I really think it's a hardware problem. As for taking the PSP apart and back together, I'm hesitant to do this since I never did it before and I lack that small screwdriver^^'
EDIT: My hardware thoughts have solidified. I tried to put on the battery lid and it would never fully fit, so I put it in place with some duct tape and she runs alot more stable now^^
lol nice job sky
giving it a second shot at life.

Thanks^^ Just its useless except for launching Dreamy Theater
I have to keep 6.xx on her and I don't dare to try a UMD with the UMD door broken^^'
Duct tape fixes everything! Taking apart a PSP isn't as difficult as one who hasn't may imagine. It was the first thing I took apart and put back together successfully. Just find a good guide if your nervous, and with the right tools, you'll be fine. I'm sure with it fully diagnosed, you could better evaluate how to fix the problem. But you wanted it running, and by-golly, you got it running alright. Lolz
As I played through all unlocked Dreamy Theather songs by now, I'm willingly to take it apart, just anyone got the name of the screwdriver I have to have?

There is no need to take it apart past getting the mobo out. Work on a big clean surface. When it's apart closely look at every part for any kind of damage.
Also be
very... careful with the ribbon cable clips.
Stuff like this...
