HAHAHA

anything you spend on an Apple product is more than 'what's necessary.'

True... However, let me list out why I am considering the Macbook:
    - I like laptops with good body (the more the flex, the more irritating it is to use them).
    - Though not much required, I'd like it to be a style statement (grrrr...!)
    - Many graphics artists etc have said that PS is more efficient in Mac (how, I dunno.. never used it... one reason why I'm getting very driven to use it there)
    - Macs have a high resale value.
    - The only laptops I've actually like (Dell Studio XPS etc,) here are more expensive than the Macbook.
    - Having different OSes to work with make it more fun! Example: PC with Win 7 + Macbook with OSX + Netbook (hypothetical) with Ubuntu.
    - Lets me learn the ways of a new OS entirely.
A message pointed towards whomever it may concern. On behalf of those of the computer community "wee" suggest "you" buy a computer for the specs of the parts, and not what the OS is capable of, or how "visually attractive" it is...  If "you" follow these "rules", "wee" can guarantee "you" will no doubt, be satisfied with your choice.

In other words BUY A FUCKING WINDOWS OR SOMETHING!

Oh yeah!  Here's one problem you're bound to run into.
